Democracy is on the line.

The GOP is screwing up. Massively.

As Trump attacks our fundamental values and threatens to take away our rights, congressional Republicans are doing everything they can to help him take a sledgehammer to the pillars of our democracy.

We are constituents and voters — and that makes us their bosses. It’s our job to make sure that they represent us, not Trump.

Join us for an August recess tele-town hall hosted by Tom Steyer, founder and president of NextGen America with Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, Deepak Bhargava, president of the Center for Community Change Action, and moderated by Michael Tubbs, mayor of Stockton, California on Aug. 14 at 5 PM PDT/8 PM EDT. We'll discuss the issues impacting our communities and tactics we can all use to hold our representatives accountable during this August recess.

We will be calling those who RSVP for the call.

This August, members of Congress will be back in their districts. Congressional Republicans know that the American people oppose their dangerous agenda. And this month, they will do everything they can to hide from us.

But here's the thing: we are constituents. We are voters. We are their bosses. Congress answers to us. This is our chance to tell them what we think about the issues that matter to us most.

This conversation is part of the ongoing effort of NextGen America and the Resistance movement to make our voices heard and effect change throughout the month. Join us.
