In just the last few years, AI has completely changed our lives. Entire workforces have been dismantled by automation, the creative field is under attack by generative “art”, and disinformation is running wild with deepfakes. As AI companies expand, data centers are proliferating all over the country, harming the environment, and taking resources from the communities in which they operate to turn a profit. Utility bills are going up and students are worried about how AI will impact their job prospects, safety, and climate.

AI is not inevitable, but its lasting negative impacts on our world could be if we do not take action. We have to put a stop to the proliferation of AI and corruption waged by these companies. Write your member of Congress to call for the regulation of AI.
