Christian Rincon is a designer and illustrator from New Jersey, living in Washington, DC. He’s on the design team at the Center for American Progress, but also creates activist posters on the side. His work has been featured in various national advocacy campaigns for clients like the Women’s March and Amplifier, among others. He lives with his wonderful wife Jacquelyn and dog Charlie.
Christian designed a poster featuring a nonbinary person as Earth, with windmills and solar energy in the background. The artwork promotes Ignite the Future, a campaign empowering youth through professional development and community building to fight climate change and create a sustainable future.
Christian designed two graphics for Green Week 2024—one from a male perspective and another from a female perspective—to support cannabis legalization. The male focused design aligns with NextGen’s focus on engaging young male voters by promoting climate action and cannabis reform.
Christian designed two graphics for the Men’s Voter Power campaign to inspire young Black and Latino men to vote:
1. Comic-Inspired Graphic: Highlights contraception rights as essential for freedom to pursue dreams, responding to attacks following Roe v. Wade’s downfall.
2. 90s Cartoon-Inspired Graphic: Features the message “Bad Boys Vote” to encourage men to embrace their power at the polls.
The campaign urges young men to register, pledge to vote, and make their voices heard.
