We’re tired of mourning, and we’re tired of being afraid. There have been more mass shootings than days in 2023, and 2024 likely won’t be much better. Too many lives have been lost to senseless gun violence – it’s time for Congress to act.

We need Congress to reinstate its bipartisan assault weapons ban now. Legislation this important shouldn’t be allowed to lapse.

In addition, it’s past time for Congress to take action by:

• Keeping guns out of dangerous hands
• Taking additional steps to support communities impacted by gun violence
• Holding the gun industry accountable

No one should be afraid to live their daily lives. Urge Congress to put an end to the senseless gun violence today.
