NextGen America Releases New Senate Ads in the Wake of Justice Ginsburg’s Tragic Passing

New Senate ads in Maine, North Carolina, Iowa, and Arizona highlight the critical importance of electing a new Senate in light of the recent opening on the Supreme Court

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – In response to the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, NextGen America launched rapid response ads in key Senate battlegrounds that outline what is at stake for young voters.

“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s tragic passing is a devastating loss for our nation. She spent her life fighting for justice and equality for all of us, now it’s on us to keep her fight going,” NextGen America Executive Director Ben Wessel said. “We cannot allow her legacy to be overshadowed by Trump rushing an ultra-conservative judge onto the Supreme Court less than 50 days before the election. The best way to honor Justice Ginsburg’s amazing life is to elect a new Senate, a new President, and then fight like hell to prevent Trump from replacing her.”

These new ads will be launched on social and streaming platforms targeted at young voters between the ages 18 and 35, and are added on top of NextGen’s existing six-figure ad by in these states.
