NextGen America Statement on Texas Senate Bill 4

NextGen America President Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez released the following statement:

“Senate Bill 4 epitomizes discrimination, paving the way for racial profiling and endangering our communities with flawed policing tactics. At NextGen, our pledge is unwavering – to advocate for a compassionate immigration system that honors the dignity of those pursuing prosperity and refuge in the land of liberty and courage. We denounce this divisive political stunt against immigrants and rededicate our efforts to empower and mobilize the vibrant voices of young voters throughout Texas.”
