NextGen PAC mobilized thousands of young voters to elect progressive candidates
Richmond, VA – Despite losses at the top of the ticket, NextGen PAC extends congratulations to incumbent Senator Tim Kaine and Eugene Vindman on their elections to Congress. NextGen PAC endorsed Senator Tim Kaine and Congressman Colonel Eugene Vindman, leaders on key issues for young voters, earlier this year as a key part of ensuring that Virginia remains just, equitable, and democratic for the future. NextGen PAC applauds their continued commitment to climate action, protecting abortion access and care, and fighting for economic equality for all Virginians.
“NextGen PAC congratulates Senator Tim Kaine and Eugene Vindman on their elections to Congress and applaud their continued commitment to young people in Virginia,” NextGen PAC President and Executive Director Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez said. “As the largest, most diverse generation in American history, we are committed to creating a future that reflects us, represents us, and respects us, and Virginia is a critical state in our fight for this future. With Senator Kaine and Colonel Vindman in Congress, young Virginians have proven advocates for our rights and leaders who believe in our movement for change. This year, young voters in Virginia turned out for progressives statewide, and we will continue mobilizing to protect the progress we have made and build a stronger future.”
